Mozaik Arts

Arlene Magloire is a multi-dimensional artist born in New York who completed her studies in Business Administration, but her passion was always for the arts.

Since 1993, she embraced her childhood dream and has been expressing herself since then in many different fields of art.

Arlene is an extensive traveler and her many visits to different countries of the world fills her imagination to create art in many themes and mediums. However, her Haitian heritage is evident in many of her subjects but mostly in her vibrant colors.

In the last few years, Arlene who has experimented with many styles, has developed more to abstract painting, but continues to show a great interest in the human form. Her greatest challenge is to find ways of incorporating these forms into her creations.

Arlene is an interior decorative artist, a painter, a jewelry designer, a decorator of fine collectible objects d´art and sculpture which she designs herself.

Arlene’s works are displayed in many private homes and restaurants around the world.

She has designed the Haitian Heritage Museum logo. She is featured in the books "Haitian Art in the Diaspora", and “Who’s Who in Visual Arts 2007”.

Arlene is also an events coordinator. She curates artistic events and in December 2005 launched a new venture, “MozaiK”, now known as “MozaikArts”, to promote art and cultural entertainment from around the globe.

MozaikArts’s first success was on December 11, 2005 with "A Celebration of Haitian Art and Culture", an event curated by the Arlene Magloire for the "Culture Vutures Sunday Happenings" which included dance and musical performances, a fine crafts show, an art exhibit with about 20 artists exhibiting, spoken word peotry, Haitian cuisine, and a "meet and greet" with the artists which brought together a huge diverse audience.

Since then, she has co-curated art shows for the city of Pembroke Pines in Florida and has had presentations in Berlin. She organizes private events and has decorated private settings for parties and private showings in the Haiti, USA, and Europe.

She continues to exhibit internationally. Her work can be commissioned; paintings, murals for inside or outside the home, by the pool, children’s rooms, personal bathrooms or spaces, or for any artistic challenge you may have. Feel free to contact MozaikArts for an estimate.
